JUDO WINTER NATIONALS
Established in 2006
This premier event created by Goltz Judo was donated by Sensei Gary Goltz to Nanka in 2019. It is endorsed by the USJA / USJF Grassroots Judo™ alliance. . It is held each December in sunny Southern California outside of Los Angeles. You can expect to see 800+ competitors from all over the country as well as different parts of the world such as Europe, Asia, South America, even a team from Tahiti! In addition to the national tournament for all age groups and skill levels, plus clinics on coaching, refereeing, kata, plans to add Kosen divisions, and anything pertaining to the study of judo.

Judo celebrities such as Ronda Rousey, Kayla Harrison, Jason Morris Israel Hernandez, Jimmy Pedro, Ugo Legrand, HeeTae Hwang, Colton Brown. Gene LeBell, Jim Bregman, Hayward Nishioka, Jin Iizumi, and many more are often on hand as competitors or coaches to provide insights, sign books, autographs, take selfies, and more. There are many off site weigh-in locations making it very convenient to registered. The preregistration price includes a souvenir designer t-shirt like the ones shown below.
